Ok so we know exactly what it's like...you're running around picking up toys, wiping jam sandwiches off walls and then piling kids into the car to get to the swimming lesson which has already started. Life with children is B.U.S.Y! My uniform on my days off when I've got the kids normally consists of a block coloured vest or tee and some shorts or long pants...dependant on the season...COMFORT and EASE is key. I do however try to spruce my basic 'uniform' up to make me feel a bit more fabulous with statement accessories and colourful jewels.
I've listed a few ideas below and yes, I've chosen a white basic, but let's be honest...it's not always my colour of choice, particularly when my 2 year old decides to wipe his tomato sauce hands on them. Ahhh the joys!
All the jewellery listed below is quality tested by both my 2 and 4 year olds, they are all super hard wearing and none contain metal components. All the necklaces are adjustable making them easy wearing and versatile. Each bead is knotted in place meaning they are super strong and can easily withstand little tugs by little people.
Grab some colourful casual lace ups and match with a colourful statement necklace - we're loving our South Pacific Artisan Plate Necklace.
For a more elegant, subtle look I throw on my favourite dark denim jeans and Du Dour Resin Studs (always a winner), if I'm in the mood I'll also add our Du Jour Geo Necklace in Navy and a loose long cardi or jacket.
Ok kids...let's head to park! My favourite outfit for scooting up slides and pushing swings is a pair of printed shorts and an adjustable necklace or statement stud earrings - at the moment I'm loving our South Pacific Frangipani Necklace and South Pacific Party Earrings. Don't forget your sunnies and the kid's snacks.
I love that a simple outfit can mean fabulously fun accessories, like these tie dyed Vans and our little South Pacific Artisan Studs.
