It seems having a public holiday in the middle of the week has made us even more keen for our Friday afternoon knock off drink... A little taste of the good stuff too soon!
We saw this delicious looking Sangria recipe on Birds Party and are firing up the blender as we type this...
What you need:
- 1 peeled and chopped pineapple
- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of white wine
- Coconut sugar (to taste)
- 1 cup white rum
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 cup of sparkling water/soda water
What you do:
- Blend half the pineapple with the water and pass through fine sieve into a punch bowl
- Sweeten to taste
- Add wine, rum, pineapple bits and soda
- Drink up!
