Sure, we design jewellery, but what is Ruby Olive really all about?
PART 2
We're passionate about supporting our community.
When we say community, we mean all the various groups, charities,
networks and people that hold special places in our hearts.
And not just locally... we're talking communities felt globally.
And when we say support, we mean not only acknowledging and
cheering on but when we can, financially giving too.
Over the last few weeks we've been touched by some of the
heartbreaking stories from our wider Australian community
of farmers affected by the drought. These are the farmers that are
providing the food for our families and they themselves are struggling
to survive, many of them are having to kill their own livestock as they
can't afford to feed them.
We asked our own RO Community (via our FB Group - click here to join)
what they thought was needed and what we could do,
and there's been lots of ideas bounced about.
After reading through everyone's suggestions as well as the charities
that had been recommended, we were absolutely impressed with
a female founded charity from Chinchilla called Drought Angels (thanks
Karen from our group for that tip). Drought Angels supports farmers
affected by natural disasters and offers them practical and financial
support during hardship (see link below for more info).

So between now and Friday 7th September, we'll be donating
$10 from every earring pack to Drought Angels to support
those families affected by the drought.
BONUS DONATION: Buy 3 full sets, and we'll donate an
additional $10 (i.e. buy 3 sets, and we'll donate $40).
The perfect Christmas stocking fillers perhaps? Wink wink!
THANK YOU for helping us, help the farmers.
